I am an Interdisciplinary Ecosystem Ecologist & Biogeochemist interested in the Land-Atmosphere Interactions and Feedback, particularly on the Carbon and Water Exchange in Tropical Forests under Changing Climate and other Global Change Drivers, currently working on forests of the Congo Basin.
I am a PhD Student at Columbia University in the City of New York (USA) and an External PhD Fellow at the Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy BIRA-IASB in Brussels (Belgium) and collaborate with the CongoFlux Project Team in Yangambi (DR Congo). I have previously received a Joint Masters degree in Soil Biogeochemistry and Global Change, organized jointly by Ghent University, BOKU Vienna, and University of Göttingen, 3 leading universities in Europe, funded by the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, and a BSc in Environmental Science and Technology. My international experiences, particular skillset, and personal attributes allow me to bring a unique perspective to my work, making me an invaluable addition and contributor to any team I join and/or lead. People close to me say much about my charismatic leadership, positive dynamic and innovative spirit. |
